Forms behave a little different on Site Management compared to standard INEXTIA. Here form templates have to be associated with a function area and shared to a site in order to be visible/usable. Keep in mind that inside INEXTIA, a site is often referred to as a unit.
When first creating a form template, it is only visible on the office site, so next step would be to create a function area. The Function Areas screen can be found under the Forms menu.
Under the creation of the function area, function area details has to be inserted. Typically, the function area can either be named after:
- the site it should be associated with.
- the type of forms that needs to be a part of the function area, e.g. safety, work permits.
To the right of the function area details, the units can be added to the function area. These are the units that the function area should be shared with and, in the end, the form templates associated with the function area.
In summary:
- Create new function area.
- Insert function area details.
- Add units to the function area.
Hereafter, the function area can be associated with a form template by finding the specific form on the Form Template screen.
After entering the specific form template, (1.) start editing and (2.) quickly move to the function area by clicking on the Function Areas field at the top.
Add the newly created function area to the form template and save. In this example, the form template Noise Monitoring is associated with the the function area called "Monitoring".
This means that the form template, Noise Monitoring, is now available to all units that have been added to the "Monitoring" function area.
