Breakdown jobs are essentially a "One-time job," but what makes this type special is that the job:
- Automatically gets a job group called "Breakdown" assigned, if this is configured.
- Gets its own list in the "Job" menu.
This makes them easier to distinguish from other jobs and simplifies generating statistics on breakdowns.
When "Breakdown job" is selected, the next date is automatically set to today's date, just like with one-time jobs. Additionally, "Breakdown jobs" is checked off.
When the job is created a special label (DEFECT) is displayed next to the jobname.
After this, it is possible to se the job on the defect job screen under Jobs in the side-menu.
If there is a need to also use a job group for these types of jobs, it can be selected in "Options."
This can, for example, be used if a specific form needs to be linked to all breakdown jobs - simply attach the form to the job group and set the job group as the default for breakdown jobs.
