Creation of planned maintenance is described in the ”Getting started” article.
Maintenance that is to be performed or has already been performed but has not been planned, is just as important to register in the maintenance system. By doing so, you can gather all historical data on the components.
Unscheduled maintenance is often called error message, breakdown, accident, or the like.
Just like the planned maintenance, this type of maintenance is also created from the tree structure:
- Mark the component
- Click on “NEW JOB”
The following job details will now be displayed:
- The component field is filled out automatically
- Write the job name. Additional text can be added in the Job Text field.
- Choose “Run Once Job”.
The trigger is automatically set to the same day when choosing this job type. If you wish to change the date, this can be done by editing the trigger. - If the job has already been finalized, check the “Finalized” box.
- Save the job by clicking the “Create” button.
When checking the “Finalized” button, it means that the maintenance has already been performed. In this case, INEXTIA will automatically create and finalize the job history for the job.
Information from the job is copied to the job history.
Resources and items added to the job are registered as actual consumption in the job history.
If the “Finalized” box is not checked, the job will only be created but must be finalized the same way as regular jobs.
