A resource is an individual or a team.
Resources are attached to jobs to show who should finalize them.
It is also possible to add the estimated time that an individual or team should use to finalize the job.
If the recourse is attached to the job history, this will show who finalized the job. If time has been registered, this will show how long the job took to finalize.
Keeping an overview of upcoming jobs is important, and therefore it is important that the users can keep track of the jobs in the job list that belongs to them. The best way to do that is to use resources. When a resource is added to the job, the users can save job lists that only shows the jobs that belongs to them.

When the functionality of recourses is being used, activating the option “Resources mandatory” is recommended. By doing so, it is secured that the job will be assigned.
It is not necessary to use hour registration when using resources. If you at some point wish to gain an overview of the estimated time use to finalize the maintenance, simply type in the hours when adding the resource.
