Please note: Job request is an add-on purchase to INEXTIA.
The Job request module can secure important data and history of ad hoc tasks, claims, defects and job requests. Employees who are not part of the maintenance department can easily access the job request module from a browser or by scanning a QR code with a smartphone or tablet. It is possible to create a direct integration into the company's intranet so that the module can be accessed directly from there.
The content in a job request is based on a job request template which can be accessed in the side menu. Multiple templates can be created so that you can report different types of claims. This could e.g. be an error report from an operator of a machine or if a service technician needs to be called to remedy defects on a building. It could also be suggestions for improvements of equipment locations, process optimization and the like.
Get started by clicking on the “NEW JOB REQUEST TEMPLATE” button and then follow the steps below:
- Give the job request template a number and a title.
- Click the “CREATE” button.
- Design the job request template by clicking on the “DESIGN JOB REQUEST TEMPLATE” button.
Different types of content and entry fields can be found in the designer and added to the template. It is also possible to add a picture or a logo. Fields can be added to the template by using the field chooser at the top of the screen.
If needed, a text field can be added to type a name of the person reporting a job request. Use the field “INPUT TEXT” and write “Name” in the title. The field can be marked as required for the user to fill out.
You can also create a list of elements with the field type “DROP DOWN”.
The content of the list can be defined by clicking on “Edit Drop Down elements” where options can be added.
When the template is built as you wish, click on the “SAVE” button. It is now possible to test it by clicking on the “FILL OUT JOB REQUEST” button.
The page that opens is the one that can be linked directly to from e.g. the company's intranet, or via a QR code that can be scanned with a smartphone.
The page contains the fields that were added in the template and the user can now fill in the required information and press “SUMBIT” to create the job request.
Incoming job requests are gathered in the INEXTIA inbox.
From here, Job requests can be converted into jobs, or the job request can be rejected if not relevant. The request will disappear from the inbox when a job is created, or a request is rejected.
By clicking on the “NEW JOB” button, INEXTIA will switch to the Create Job screen and the job will have a reference to the job request under extra information. It is also possible to decide which information should be transferred from the job request template to the new job via references.
