It is possible to control whether similar pending entries should be displayed on the registration page, so that users can see that e.g. a defective fluorescent lamp has already been reported broken.
When checking the box “Include in search” as shown below, INEXTIA will automatically search for similar error reports compared to what the user is reporting. In this case, it would be a similar choice of “Task”.
When checking the box “Show in search results” as shown below, it is possible to choose if the data from this field are allowed be shown. If the field contains sensitive information (Name, email, telephone number or the like) it can be useful to not show the field in the search results.
A user wants to create a job request, like in the example below, regarding the toilet. By choosing “Toilet” in the task section, INEXTIA will search for other open job requests and the user can then decide if he or she should create another job request. The search result box can be expanded if the similar job request contains additional information.
The user will still be able to create another job request even though there are similar requests. The search is just an indication that there may already be an ongoing process.
