There are two ways INEXTIA can print a form: standard and using a print template.
Standard
If no print template is assigned to the form template, INEXTIA will print the form in a standard format. This format displays general data in the header, while the specific fields in the form are printed as they appear in INEXTIA.
Example of standard print.
With template
If you want to print the form data in a specific layout, you can set up a print template for the form template.
The print template is set up with tags, just like when printing a job report.

Once the Word file is created, it is added to the form template.
When a print template is added to the form template, INEXTIA will use the print template each time a form based on this template is printed.

Tags from Designer
The tags for specific fields can be retrieved in the form template designer under properties.
Along with the tag name, it is important to use the correct control in Word for the different field types.
The different controls in Word are shown in the image above.
The list below shows the correspondence between field types in the form template designer and control types in Word:
- Checkbox = Drop Down List
- Date Picker = Date Picker
- Dropdown = Drop Down List
- Short Answer = Plain Text
- Long Answer = Plain Text
- List of Values = Drop Down List
- Number = Plain Text
- Signature = Picture
The remaining field types, such as Header and Info Text, cannot be printed.
