As a starting point, all data from all overview screens in INEXTIA can be exported to Excel or PDF and then printed.
For jobs and purchase orders, you can also print a detailed report that can be sent to a supplier, based on a layout you design entirely yourself.
In INEXTIA, a default template for the job report is included from the start.
This is done so that the report can be printed immediately and to provide an example to use as a starting point when designing your own report.
Setup
When INEXTIA prints the report, it uses the template configured in the settings.
The template is a Word file that is designed as described in this article and then inserted by editing the settings:
- Drag the file into the "Dynamic Report" area or locate it on the computer by clicking search.
- Select the type:
- Job = Detailed job report
- Purchase Order = Detailed purchase order report
- Job List = Jobs formatted as a list (an alternative to the export function, allowing you to print a list of jobs based on your custom layout)
- Provide a name for the entry.
Note: It is important that the document is assigned the correct report type so that INEXTIA knows which tags are used and where the values should be retrieved.
The example below shows the template saved as a document.
