From the detail screens, it is possible to change the order of the individual cards*. It is also possible to adjust the size and whether the card should be hidden.
This allows you to customize the individual screens so that the fields used most frequently are at the top, and fields that are not used at all are hidden.
The layout can be modified on almost all detail screens, such as components, jobs, items, etc.
The exception is screens where there is only one card displayed.
* Cards refer to the groupings (rectangular boxes) present on all detail screens.

User rights
To be able to change the layout, you need the user permission under "Customer Screen Layout."
Edit Screen Layout
The layout for a screen is changed by first opening the detail screen for any object. In the top right corner, click on the icon of a screen with four windows.
You are then informed that any changes made to the layout will apply to all objects of the same type. For example, if you change the layout for a component, the change will apply to all components (and all users who can view components), not just the specific component selected to access the detail screen.
Next, select "EDIT LAYOUT".
You will then be redirected to the screen where the layout is set up.
Hide cards
By clicking on "HIDE CARD", you can completely hide the various cards from the screen. For example, if you do not use counters in the system, you can hide the two cards on the component screen that display counter data. If any cards have already been hidden, the number in parentheses on the button will indicate how many cards are hidden in the layout.
Move card
A card is moved by clicking and holding the 6 dots, while dragging the card to the desired position.
When dragging a card, gray borders appear around all the boxes in the layout. If the card is dragged to one of the gray borders, the border will light up. If the card is released over a lit border, it will be placed on the side of the card that the border belongs to.
See the example below, where "Counter" is placed to the right of "Technical Info". In this case, the counter is already on that side, so there will likely be no change, but it illustrates how a card is moved.
Enlarge or shrink a card
After a card has been moved, it may be necessary to adjust the size of the different cards to avoid leaving gaps that result in wasted space.
By clicking on the 4 arrows, the card can be dragged and expanded or shrunk in the respective direction. For example, in the case above, it would make sense to click on the "down" arrow to scale the card in that direction and fill the space.
Note that the new layout should always be tested, both in views where there is space for 3 cards side by side and where there is only space for 2. Typically, there will be space for 3 cards side by side on standard screens, while there is only space for 2 when the object is displayed in the tree structure.
Similarly, there will also not be space for 3 cards side by side if the screen is displayed on a tablet.
Reset Layout
If you have moved the cards too much, you can return to the default layout provided by INEXTIA.
This is done by clicking on "RESET LAYOUT".
